This isn't a LARP, but it could be?

The story goes that the McCarty Brothers found Stolp Island (it wasn't named Stolp Island yet- that doesn't make sense) and founded Aurora.
It's more complicated than that, but the point is Downtown Aurora is an ISLAND, which is pretty cool!

Every time I write a game about "the island" people ask me if it's a LARP.
It's not.
And I'm not receiving the message!
I suppose this game could be a LARP, and maybe I'll make it a LARP, but right now it's not.

Having said that, playing an outdoor game on a extremely large island, but not Manhattan sized island could be pretty cool!
On top of that, I know people that work for the city, which doesn't mean I get free parking, but I know who to ask!
So... when I say maybe this could be a LARP, I really mean it.
I just need "rules and stuff" and the City's blessing.
Seems easy?
